Five on Friday - February Goals

Today I’m recapping my January goals and listing my February goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 

 



January Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on a date with B. – We went to dinner and to a popup Christmas bar.

Y  Have dinner with my girlfriends. – We had dinner at a new Mexican restaurant!

Y  Have a poker night with friends. – Got this done after having to miss in December due to sickness!

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, prayer journal, and affirmations every day.

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 12 days. – I closed them all 13 times.

Y  Aim to average 6,000/steps per day. – I averaged 6,177 this month.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Get my hair cut and highlighted… finally.

Y  Go to my checkup at the orthodontist.

Y  See my old TMJ dentist to talk to him about my vertigo.

Y  Go to my annual mammogram and ultrasound.

Y  Drop expectations and make margin in each day for downtime. – I did really well at this in January… especially during our snow week.

Y  Read 1 book.

 

Family/School/Fun

Y  Kids have sleepovers.

Y  Kids go back to school after Christmas break.

Y  Attend Olivia’s second quarter awards ceremony.

Y  Attend the Home and School Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Go to a UGA basketball game.

Y  Jacob get braces.

Y  Attend Jacob’s high school strategy meeting.

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Take my car in so they can fix my recall.

Y  Hang acrylic shelves in my office.

Y  Clean out the pantry.

Y  Clean out the fridge.

Y  Clean out my closet.

Y  Clean out the playroom.

Y  Finish One Second a Day video for 2024.

 

Blog/Social Media

Y  Prep Ode to 2025 blog post for next year.

Y  Set up editorial calendar for 2025.

Y  Choose my word for 2025 and start working on goals.

N  Post at least 1 Reel.

Have a poker night with friends.

Spend one on one time with each of the kids.

Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, prayer journal, and affirmations every day.

Make margin in each day for downtime and be present.

Aim to average 7,000/steps per day.

Go to my annual OBGYN checkup.

Jacob get together with friends for a Pokemon card trading night.

Co-chair the Daddy/Daughter dance.

Brian and Olivia attend their last Daddy/Daughter dance.

Host a Super Bowl get together for family.

Jacob attend his golf meeting for the upcoming season.

Go to a hockey game with friends.

Celebrate Brian’s birthday.

Celebrate Olivia’s birthday.

Jacob try out for the Honors Recital at his music school (maybe).

Take Olivia to her semi-annual thyroid checkup at the ENT doctor.
