Well, Well, Well…

Here we go again!  Another Tuesday without a weekly recap.  I intended to have our weekly recap up today, but I ended up coming down with Covid Saturday night and haven’t been able to get my act together since then.  So, I’m popping in today to let you know that I’ll have a regularly scheduled post tomorrow (that was already done in advance), and assuming I’m well enough to keep sitting at my desk (which I think I will be), my weekly recap will be live on Thursday.

Thankfully, even though I have aaaallll the symptoms – congestion, runny nose, cough, sneezing, body aches, occasional chills, and a low-grade fever – all of my symptoms are mild, and I honestly don't feel that bad as long as I have Ibuprofen in my system.

But I do have to say that it’s reeeeally unfair for us moms to get sick this time of year.  It is CRUNCH TIME, and I have 84 million things that have to be done before the kids get out of school next week, but… I can’t leave the house, nor do I have my full energy to get anything done.

Yesterday I pretty much slept, cried (because I had to miss something special/important for Jacob), talked to my parents and friends, and watched videos from Taylor Swift's last Eras Tour show all day.  You can always count on me to keep it real over here!  Lol.

But as I’ve been saying for the last couple of months…

IT IS WHAT IT IS.

Good thing I decided to embrace that phrase a couple of months ago after falling in love with two different songs with that title, because I sure have been having to use it a lot lately.  ;o)

I’ll see you back here tomorrow with some gratitude… which is probably a good thing because I need to be focusing on the positive things right now!

Happy Tuesday, y'all!

    1. I had no clue either until my friend who works at acute care told me that have OTC flu/Covid tests all in one now! We'll definitely be keeping them on hand! It sure beats going to the doctor!
