Five on Friday - Taylor Swift Eras Tour Book, TTPD Anthology, Bullseye Squishmallow, Comfy Jeans for Girls, and an Eras Tour Christmas Ornament

Happy Friday, y’all!  It’s been a WEEK around here as I’ve been down all week with Covid and have gotten minimal things done.  The kids get out of school one week from today, and for two of the days next week, I’ll be at the school all day helping out with events, so that leaves me with just three days without them home to get every.single.thing.done. before Christmas and it’s freaking me out a little.  I’ve never been this behind during the holiday season in my whole life.  But…

IT IS WHAT IT IS.

Today, I’m going to share a few favorites from the last couple of weeks… two of these were also your favorites because they were the most purchased items through my links!

Here we go!

O N E – Taylor Swift Eras Tour Book

Well, my very favorite thing from the last couple of weeks has been, by far, the Taylor Swift Eras Tour book!  And apparently, it was your favorite thing, too, because The Eras Tour book was, by far, my top seller last week!

Y’all, if you are a Taylor Swift fan, or if you have a Swiftie in your household, this is the perfect gift for the holidays!  This book is just gorgeous – it has a smooth, satiny hard cover with glitter accents on Taylor’s outfit and on the title on the spine, it has the sweetest letter from Taylor at the beginning, and then it proceeds to take you on a journey through the entire Eras Tour in chronological order from start to finish, leaving nothing out!  She even got the Tortured Poets Department portion in there even though that was added much later in the tour.

It contains hundreds of pictures, and it features every single song that was played on the tour, along with some of the best lyrics from each.  There’s also a wonderful collection of all of her different outfits, guitars, and microphones in the back, along with a list of every single city and date on the tour.  It also contains many of Taylor’s personal reflections and sentiments from the tour.

Olivia and I both got one on Black Friday, and we looked at the entire thing together the first day that we had it.  It is truly a work of art, and it will make for the ultimate collector’s item for any Swiftie.  I would expect nothing less from Tay!

And fun fact, she self-published this book!!  And despite the fact that she is only selling it through one retailer, the Eras Tour book was the biggest book launch of 2024!

Is anyone surprised?  I know I’m not.  Haha.

T W O – Tortured Poets Department Anthology + Bonus Tracks

This was the second most purchased item through my links last week – the vinyl – and y’all are loving it as much as I am!!  I was able to get my hands on the CD for Black Friday and the acoustic bonus tracks are *chef’s kiss*!  Guilty as Sin? is one of my favorite songs on the whole album, so I was thrilled that it was one of the bonus tracks.  Again, this would make for a wonderful gift for any Taylor Swift fan.

T H R E E – Comfortable Jeans for Girls

Olivia hasn’t worn jeans in, probably, six years.  She hates jeans because they’re “scratchy,” “uncomfortable,” and, “too tight,” so the fact that we finally found a pair of jeans that she loves is an incredible feat!  These jeans from Target are soft, loose-fitting in keeping with the current trend, and they have rhinestones all over them.  They have a raw hem which is just the cutest, and they have an adjustable waistband which always comes in handy for our kiddos.  If you have a little that refuses to wear jeans because of sensory issues, give these a try!

F O U R – Bullseye Squishmallow

Target teamed up with Squishmallows to make a Bullseye Squishmallow, and he’s all decked out for winter, which is the cutest thing ever!  Olivia asked for Squishmallows for Christmas, so I picked this one up for her and I know she’s going to love it.  This one is 12 inches, so it’s medium-sized, and it’s soft and squishy just like all of the other Squishmallows.  Just thought I’d throw this on here in case your child is Squishmallow-obsessed and Target-obsessed just like ours is!  It’ll make for a great gift!

F I V E – My New Ornament for 2024

Every year, I buy a new ornament for my favorite things tree in my office, and this year’s ornament is one of my favorites on the whole tree!  Technically, I should have bought this one last year since we attended the concert in 2023, but it is what it is!  And I’m glad it’s here now.

This ornament is hand-crafted, and you can have it customized with your date and show.  It does not come with the friendship bracelets, but it has room to hold up to three of your own.  I put three of my favorites that I wore to the show – two that I made, and one that I traded with the sweetest little girl – and this is one of my favorite ornaments of all-time already!

Again, this would make another great gift for any Taylor Swift fan in your life!

  4. Oh no! I hope you are feeling better now Good luck with getting everything done for Christmas!
That Taylor Swift book sounds amazing! My girl would love it but as far as I can see it's only available on eBay here for ridiculous prices.
I love that loose fitting jeans are coming back in style. I hate the skinny, tight one's.
