Five on Friday - October Goals

Today I’m recapping my September goals and listing my October goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 



September Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on a date with Brian.

Y  Hang out with my girlfriends.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 21 days. – I closed all of them 26 times!

Y  Aim to average 10,000/steps per day. 

Y  Try a barre workout.

Y  Try a new strength workout.

Y  Add protein/collagen to my daily routine.

Y  Go to my orthodontist checkup.

Y  Go to my annual checkup with my primary doctor.

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Go to my annual dermatologist checkup.

Y  Complete 25 days of The Bible Recap. – I completed 29!

N  Read 2 books. – I only read 1.

 

Family/School/Fun

Y  Swim one last time with friends to say goodbye to summer.

Y  Attend the school tailgate and football game. – the kids did, not B and me since it got postponed due to the weather.

Y  Attend the Home and School Advisory meeting for September.

Y  Attend annual well visits for the kids at their doctor’s office.

Y  Jacob start golf.

Y  Chair both Grandparents Day events at the kids’ school.

Y  See Kaleo in concert.

X  Attend the alumni social and football game at school. – this got postponed due to Hurricane Helene.

Y  Watch a lot of college football.

N  Try the new Indian restaurant in town.

N  Work on our fall puzzle.

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Prep and plan for the school tailgate.

Y  Prep and plan for Grandparents Day at the kids’ school.

N  Update at least 300 alumni in the new system for the school. – I updated quite a few, but I didn’t hit my goal of 300.  I used some of my alumni relations time to help prep for HOCO, though.

N  Add a few extra security measures to kids’ laptops, take 2.

N  Update album artwork for at least 50 albums in iTunes.

N  Back up the last few months of pictures and videos.

Y  Plan our trip to Chicago. – Kind of?

N  List more stuff to sell.

N  Work on at least 1 task on Master To Do List.

 

Blog/Social Media

N  Complete 1 blog post for the future.

Y  Continue updating Amazon storefront.

Y  Share a fall home tour on the blog and Instagram.

Y  Post at least 1 Reel.

Go see Golden Girls comedy show at the theatre with my girlfriends.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, and affirmations every day.

Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Close all rings on my Apple Watch 21 days.  

Aim to average 10,000/steps per day.  

Continue barre/new strength workouts.

Continue protein/collagen supplement.

Visit with my therapist.

Attend followup appointment with my ENT doctor for my vertigo.

Complete 25 days of The Bible Recap.

Read 1 book.

Go to the Georgia/Auburn football game in Athens.

Attend the Home and School Advisory meeting for October.

Go to Chicago for fall break!!

Hug my friend, Emily’s, neck for the first time ever and spend the day with her!!!!

See, do, and eat all the things in Chicago!!

Jacob and Olivia get baby teeth extracted so they can get braces soon.  Womp womp.

VOTE!!!!  (Our county offers early voting, and I will be doing my civic duty ASAP.)

Attend the school fall carnival.

Jacob finish his golf season and play in the city championship.

Attend the Home and School open meeting for October.

See Abe Parker in concert!!!!  EEK!

Attend Trunk or Treat at the kids’ school.

Have our annual spooky Halloween dinner.

Trick or Treat.

Watch It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown on Halloween night.

Watch all of the other Halloween movie faves.

Watch a lot of college football.
