What I Ordered from Amazon in September 2024

It was another small month for Amazon orders, and the items that I did order are mostly refills, but I did grab one product that really stood out that I wanted to share with y’all.  Let’s see what all I purchased this month from Amazon…

Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket

I actually saw this emergency fire blanket in an Instagram ad, and it reeled me in completely!  I usually ignore all of the ads on there, but I ended up watching the entire ad because I was so impressed and transfixed.  Needless to say, I bought one within a day of seeing the ad.

This blanket is incredible – it extinguishes fires quickly and easily without the mess of a fire extinguisher.  You literally just throw the blanket over the fire, and it puts the fire out immediately.  It’s effective on grease fires, electrical fires, wood fires, gas fires, and vapors, so you could use it in the kitchen, in the back yard while grilling, or even in your vehicle.

The best part is that it never expires.  You can literally use it on a fire and then fold it back up and place it back in the bag to use again.  Amazing.

They are made from fiberglass and they’re waterproof, tear resistant, lightweight, flame resistant, abrasion resistant, low temperature resistant, and reuseable.  And in addition to using it to put out fires, you can also use it as a thermal or heat shield should the need ever arise.

One of my biggest fears is a house fire, and I also worry that should we ever have a situation where something is on fire that I wouldn’t even know how to use a fire extinguisher.  The aftermath of a fire extinguisher is also awful, too, as it makes a huge mess.  With this blanket, you literally just toss it over the fire, and it extinguishes the flames immediately.

Where has this thing been all my life?!

One blanket is $29.99, and Amazon currently has a $5 coupon that you can clip, bringing the price to just $24.99.  Or you can purchase them in packs of two, four, or eight and save even more money.

These have 4.8 / 5 stars with more than 16,000 reviews on Amazon and the reviews speak for themselves.  And if you’re still not convinced, check out the video on this Amazon listing!  It’s amazing how fast it puts out fires!

Literally everyone should have one of these on hand!

Neon Tablecloth

We had a school tailgate a couple of weeks ago, and the theme was neon.  I’m one of the room moms for fifth grade, so we were in charge of decorating the fifth-grade table.  I grabbed this disposable tablecloth as a base.

Neon Balloons

I also grabbed these neon balloons to inflate and put all around the table to add some pops of color.  I feel like you can never go wrong with balloons because they’re inexpensive, but they really make a statement!

Neon Glow Sticks

And finally, I grabbed this large pack of neon glow sticks for the kids to enjoy after dark!  This package comes with 100 sticks and tons of connectors so you can make bracelets, necklaces, crowns, etc.  So fun!

Covergirl Powder Foundation

I have been using this Covergirl powder foundation for touchups for more than a decade.  I haven’t been able to find it anywhere for a year or two (but had thankfully stockpiled them and never ran out), so I was super excited when Tanya posted about them in her last Amazon post.  I’m so glad to see they’re finally back in stock!

Pilot Precise Pens

I’ve been using the same pens since high school and college, and it was time for a refill.  These are my favorite of all-time, and I have them in every color, but the primary color I use is blue.  They are hard to find in stores, but Amazon always has them!

Turmeric

It was time for a refill of the turmeric that I take daily, and Amazon always has the best price!  If you want to see why I take this and how it has benefited me (a TON), you can read this post.

Magnesium

It was also time for a refill of Magnesium, and again, if you want to see why I take this daily and how I have benefited from it, you can read this post.

Dentastix

Maui gets one of these as her nightly treat, and she was in need of a refill, so I grabbed them on Amazon.  These are hard to find in stores for her size, but Amazon is always reliable.

Happy Monday, y’all!
