Five on Friday - Your Top Five Most Purchased Items from Amazon Prime Day

Happy Friday, y’all!  What a week!  I spent Tuesday and Wednesday glued to my phone to share deals for y’all for Amazon Prime Day, and I’d say it was a huge success!  I ordered quite a few things that we needed like product refills, items we’d wanted that we’d been waiting to go on sale, and I even started Christmas shopping.

And I’d say that it was a success for y’all, too, because you ordered so.much.stuff through my links.  To those of you who did – THANK YOU.

Today I thought it would be fun to recap the sale and see which items were most loved and most purchased through my links.  Since we’re doing a countdown, we’re counting backwards from five to one today.  ;o)  And fun fact, every single item in the top ten is personally owned and loved by me so I can vouch for the goodness of all of these!

Here we go!

F I V E – Glad Trash Bags

The number five most purchased item from my links were these Glad Trash Bags.  These weren’t even on my radar, but good ol’ trusty Brian was on top of the product refills for all of our house things.  He’s the one who takes out the trash 99% of the time, so naturally, it didn’t even occur to me to check on our trash bags.  They ended up being deeply discounted in the sale – 30% off! – making them even less expensive than if we’d bought them at Walmart.

These trash bags are great.  They have “forceflex technology” so they give extra flex to expand around sharp edges and heavy loads while resisting punctures and tears.  We get the fragrance-free version because the scented version has a really strong scent, and they give me a headache.

While these are no longer 30% off, they do currently qualify for a deal where you get a $15 Amazon credit when you spend $50 on select items.  So if you’re still shopping today and you want to order some of these, you can still get a deal!

It’s so funny to me that these made my top five, but it does seem that many of you use Amazon Prime Day to load up on product refills!

F O U R – Travel Toiletry Bag

The number four most purchased item from my links was this travel toiletry bag, and friends who purchased it, you will not regret it!  This bag is so fabulous!  It doesn’t take up tons of space in your suitcase, but it holds a TON of stuff including full-sized shampoos and body washes.  It has numerous pockets so you can organize all of your items however you need, and it has a hanger that pulls out so you can hang it in your hotel bathroom when you travel.

T H R E E – 6,000-Piece Bracelet Making Kit

The number three most purchased item from my links was this bracelet making bead kit.  I bought two of these kits last year to keep on hand for gifts.  They come with every single thing you need to make a ton of bracelets!  When they went on sale again on Prime Day, I bought two more for gifts because I could not believe how inexpensive the kit was after the Prime Day discount.  Y’all, it ended up being 77% off – so just $6.99 for the entire set!!  While it’s not discounted as deeply today, it is still 70% off with an extra 10% off coupon that you can clip.  These sets are perfect to keep on hand for summer activities when the kids are bored, and they’re also great gifts for birthdays and Christmas!

T W O – Gold Bond Age Renew Neck & Chest Firming Cream

The number two most purchased item from my links was this Gold Bond Age Renew Neck & Chest Firming Cream.  I have been using this for nearly a couple of years now, and it has made a huge difference in the appearance of the skin on my chest and neck.  My skin on my chest and neck is rough and uneven compared to the rest of my body due to years of exposure to the sun (and me never thinking to put sunscreen there every day + constantly forgetting to moisturize that area), and this cream has worked wonders for smoothing it out.  I have also noticed that the skin on my neck does seem to have a more tightened appearance.  The key is to use this product consistently, though.  I put it on every single night before bed to give it time to soak in really well and do its thing while I sleep.  Amazon always has the best price even when it’s not on sale.

O N E – Space-Saving Hangers

And finally, the number one most purchased item from my links were… these space-saving hangers!  I just purchased these a couple of weeks ago (should have waited for Prime Day since I could have saved money – ha!), and I LOVE them.  The side of my closet that holds all of my dresses, pants, skirts, and shorts was stuffed to the brim, but I wasn’t willing to give up anything else as I had just cleaned out my closet.  There was tons of vertical space being wasted under the shorts and skirts, so these space-saving hangers saved the day!

Each hanger holds six pairs of shorts or skirts (you could even use them for pants) and they hang vertically to save horizontal space in your closet.  The clips slide back and forth on the hangers so you can space them however you need to, and the best part is that you can attach the hangers to other hangers to make them longer to save even more horizontal space.

I was worried initially that it would be too hard to get the shorts and skirts off of the clips and back on the clips since they’re stacked on top of each other, but it hasn’t been an issue at all!

so,ile these aren’t currently as cheap as they were for Prime Day, they are still 21% off, so if you’re looking to do a closet reorg any time soon, now is still a good time to buy them!

  1. I ordered the toiletry bag. I tried to see how you figure out how many people ordered things and my link shows no one ordered anything...although my friend said she ordered one of the dresses I shared! haha.

    1. You should be able to go into your associates account and select the date of the day you want to see and it will show you all of the items ordered. I hope that helps!

  2. What a fun look at how the day went. I would never have thought to check things like our trash bags either (though that is the brand we use).
