What I Ordered from Amazon in May 2024

It was a light month for Amazon orders in May, and most of what I did order was refills anyway.  I do have a couple of fun items, though, so keep reading…

Tennis Skirt

I bought this tennis skirt in hot pink last year and I loved it so much that I decided to buy it in another color… this Kelly green!  There are shorts built right in, and there’s a pocket on the back that’s big enough to hold a phone.  The quality is excellent, and it’s SO DANG CUTE and breathable.  It’s perfect for throwing on for errands, picnics, hikes, a workout, or actual tennis, I suppose.  ;o)  It comes in so many colors and patterns and it’s just perfect for summer because it keeps you nice and cool.  It does seem to run on the smaller side, so I suggest sizing up one size.  I’m hoping one day to snag it in white, but it’s sold out in my size every time I check.

Stanley Tumbler Carrier

Olivia’s friend at school has one of these Stanley Cup carriers, and Olivia thought it was the coolest thing, so she asked if she could buy one with her own money.  We found this one on Amazon (I’ve actually blogged about it before!), and she has been using it ever since then.  If you’re like me, and you carry your water (literally) everywhere with you, this bag is pretty genius.  It holds your Stanley Cup (there’s a 30 oz. version and a 40 oz. version), and it has a pocket for your cell phone, a pocket for your ID/credit cards/money, and a hook to hang your keys.  It comes with an adjustable, removeable strap, and the strap has a pad that rests on your shoulder for maximum comfort.  This thing is perfect for all of those summer walks, hikes, and bike rides because it holds all of the essentials (including water!) and leaves you completely hands-free!

What Do You Meme? Family

Olivia purchased this game with her own money recently, and although we’ve only had the chance to play it a couple of times (because – so BUSY), it is so much fun!  It’s VERY easy to play and it is absolutely hilarious.  Gameplay is very similar to Apples to Apples, so many people can play at once (you need at least three, but it’s more fun the more people you have), and it can be as quick or as long as you’d like depending on how many rounds you’d like to do.  This game has had our family in stitches – it is laugh out loud funny – and it is such a great game to have on hand for summer break!

What Do You Meme?

After loving the kids’ version so much, I had to buy the adult version, too, and while we haven’t had a chance to play it just yet, I did go through and look at all of the memes and some of the cards, and it is HILARIOUS.  I can’t wait to play this on one of our game nights with friends.

Black Sneakers

Olivia had to have plain black sneakers for her hip hop performance in the recital, and these ended up being PERFECT.  They’re surprisingly well-made for the price, they are comfy, and they Velcro on and off, which was much-needed since she had to change quickly.

Lipstick

I was getting low on my signature shade of lipstick, so I loaded up… I bought five more tubes.  I will be devastated if they ever discontinue this shade because it is absolute perfection with my skin tone.  I’ve never loved a shade of lipstick more.  And I love how moisturizing it is.  It also stays on for hours.  And did I mention that it’s only $5.64?!

Magnesium

I started taking magnesium last year, and it has done wonders for my muscle tension and digestion.  You can take up to four per day, I think, but I just take two in the morning with my breakfast, and I have noticed a difference in my neck tension.  I needed a refill, and Amazon is the place to get it since it’s the most affordable.

Wet Ones Hand Wipes

I carry a pack of these Wet Ones Hand Wipes everywhere with me at all times, and I was in need of a refill.  I love buying these bulk packs from Amazon because you save so much money.

Xyzal

Another refill… I take this year-round (grass pollen is firing up here as I type this!) and it’s better than Claritin or any of the other brands that I’ve tried.

Dentastix

Maui was almost out of her nightly treats, so I purchased a refill.

Turmeric

It was also time for a refill of turmeric.  I take this daily and I cannot even tell you how amazing the benefits have been.  You can read more about it here… I love this stuff so much that I dedicated an entire blog post to it.  Crazy, right?

Happy Monday, y’all!

  1. The black sneakers are cute! Gabbie has gotten fancy hip hop sneakers for a few dances she was in and has gotten to use them afterwards, but plain black is even better.

    1. That's awesome she was able to use them afterward! I knew Olivia wouldn't wear black ones afterwards, so that's why we stuck with cheap ones!

    1. Yes, we're trying to teach the kids all about saving and spending and tithing and all that, so they'll hopefully be responsible with their finances one day!
