Happy Friday, y’all! It’s been another slow-ish week for us, which means that I accomplished a lot yet again, and it feels great to be ahead of the game and not constantly behind like I was for the last few months of 2023. I’m sure eventually it’ll all catch up with me again at some point, but until then, I’m going to enjoy being ahead for a bit. ;o)
Switching gears, I wanted to share a few things from Target today that I’ve been loving. The quality of their clothing has always been really great, but it just gets better and better as time goes on. They have some excellent pieces right now, so I thought I’d do a roundup of some of my favorites. You’ve probably seen a couple of these in my Instagram stories recently, and if you read the blog every day then you’ve definitely seen all of these pieces in my What I Wore monthly roundup blog posts…
O N E – High-Rise Leggings
Just when I thought I’d never find anything better than my beloved 90 Degree leggings from Amazon, Target had to go and make these! Oh my word, y’all. The quality of these leggings cannot be beat. They are the epitome of comfort – super soft, super stretchy, they stay in place – they are so good you don’t even feel them. They are perfect for working out, pairing with a cute tunic and boots, or wearing around the house. And the best part is – they are priced even better than the 90 Degree leggings! They are true-to-size (I wear a small), and they come in a wide range of sizes + a large variety of colors. This is one of those rare items that I’d like to stock up on just in case they ever discontinue them… seriously, I would buy ten pairs of these if I could to ensure that I’ll have them for years to come!
T W O – High-Rise Flare
Leggings
Flares are back in style again, and I’m here for it!! These high-rise flare leggings are identical to the ones above – same fabric, same fit, same high-rise waistband that stays in place – but they flare at the ends, giving them a little extra cuteness. The legs are tight through the thigh, and they start to flare right under the knee in the absolute perfect spot. They are incredibly flattering and I cannot recommend these enough! Did I mention that they make your butt look fantastic?! The ones above do, too!
T H R E E – Athletic
Crewneck Pullover
The first time I posted a workout picture in this pullover on Instagram, I received a ton of DMs asking for links, and y’all went CRAZY for this top. The following day, my account was a solid page of purchases just for this top. This pullover is incredibly soft just like the leggings, and the fabric wicks away sweat. It has the cutest cutout in the back, and it hits right at the hips, so it’s the perfect companion to wear with either pair of leggings above. Since it’s a relaxed fit, I sized down to an XS, and it’s perfect. It comes in a wide range of sizes from XS-4X and it comes in three different colors. I love it so much that I bought it in all three colors when they were on sale for 30% off earlier this year.
F O U R – Sweater
I bought this cashmere-like sweater several months ago during a holiday sale, and I love it so much that I bought it in two more colors when it went on sale late last year. These have been on repeat all winter long, and they have held up well in the wash. The sweaters are so soft, they come in tons of colors, and they’re so warm. They’re currently out of stock in some sizes and colors, but there are still plenty of sizes and colors available, and they are currently on clearance as I’m sure Target is looking to push out the fall and winter wear to make room for spring and summer. I’d love to have it in yellow!
F I V E – Spring
Sweaters
In addition to the sweaters above, Target also recently released a spring sweater collection, and this one is so cute. This version isn’t cropped like the one above, so it hits at the hip rather than the waist. It comes in several different colors and it’s super soft as well. It’s lighter weight than the sweater above, making it a great transitional sweater from winter to spring. It also comes in multiple colors and a wide range of sizes, and it’s currently on sale, too!
