Five on Friday - February Goals

Today I’m recapping my December goals and listing my January goals.  As always, I’m using a Y for YES and N for NO to indicate whether or not I accomplished my goals. 



January Goals

Relationships

Y  Go on at least one date with Brian.

Y  Have dinner with my girlfriends.

Y  Have lunch with an old coworker.

Y  Have a poker night with friends.

Y  Start planning a dinner with old coworkers.

 

Personal/Health/Wellness/Fitness/Beauty

Y  Meditate, devotional, gratitude journal, and affirmations every day.

Y  Drink 64 oz. water most days. 

Y  Close all rings on my Apple Watch 20 days. 

N  Aim to average 10,000/steps per day. 

Y  Visit with my therapist.

Y  Go to my annual mammogram appointment.

Y  Go to my orthodontist checkup.

Y  Get my hair highlighted and trimmed.

Y  Clean makeup brushes.

Y  Clean wedding bands.

Y  Complete 30 days of The Bible Recap.

Y  Read 1 book.

 

Family/School/Fun

Y  Enjoy the rest of Christmas Break.

Y  Have some get togethers with friends.

Y  See a movie at the theater.

Y  Celebrate Christmas with B’s family… finally!

Y  Resume music lessons.

Y  Book our Disney trip!

Y  Get Maui groomed.

Y  See Aladdin Broadway Show in Atlanta.

Y  Attend the Home & School Advisory Board meeting.

Y  Attend our annual benefit ball.

X  Attend the Home & School open meeting. – This was canceled, so I’m just crossing it off the list!

 

Home/Organization/Planning

Y  Clean out Jacob’s bedroom.

Y  Clean out Olivia’s bedroom.

Y  Clean out the playroom.

Y  Clean out the refrigerator.

Y  Clean out the pantry.

Y  Clean out my closet.

Y  Start cleaning out the storage closet.

Y  File the kids’ old papers.

Y  Prune the indoor plants.

N  Develop pictures for frames.

Y  Finish One Second a Day video for 2023.

Y  Update album artwork for at least 10 albums in iTunes. – I updated 110!  But then iTunes got glitchy and started messing up some of my music, so I’m taking a break until there’s an update to fix it.

Y  Take down New Year’s Eve decorations.

Y  Start planning for Valentine’s Day. – I already have cards for Brian, Jacob, and Olivia, small gifts for Jacob and Olivia (Brian and I don’t do gifts for V-Day), and gifts for the teachers.  The only thing left is to order Valentines for Olivia to send out to her class!

Y  Start planning for Brian’s and Olivia’s birthdays. – Y’all, I’m so on top of things and it feels amazing!  I’m already completely done shopping for B, and I’m more than halfway done shopping for Olivia.  Olivia has already nailed down her theme (Taylor Swift – what else?  LOL), and she already knows what she wants to do with her friends.

Y  List fall/winter clothes on Poshmark. – I listed soooo much stuff on Poshmark and on Facebook this month.  I’ve already sold a lot of it, too!

Y  Complete 1 task on Master To Do List.

 

Blog/Social Media

Y  Update links on all blog pages.

Y  Prep Ode to 2024 blog post for next year.

Y  Get ahead on the blog by at least a couple of days. – I’m nearly a week ahead as I type this!

Y  Get caught up on blog reading.

Y  Complete 1 blog post for the future (recipe for November). – This feels SO good to check off!

Y  Share at least 1 Reel on Instagram. – I shared one about how we organize our Christmas cards.  It’s so easy and we get to enjoy them year after year!

    1. Thank you! I owe meeting my water goal all to my Stanley! I carry it everywhere with me so it's always there. If I didn't do that, I'd never make it!
