Halloween is over, and if you’ve hung around these parts for any amount of time, then you know that I jump straight into all things Christmas on November 1! I thought it would only be fitting to kick off the month with my very first gift guide of the season, and this one is for the ladies!
As always, the price range for these items varies widely, so there’s something for every budget.
1 – Stanley Tumbler
Well, I drank the Kool-Aid, and I finally got a Stanley tumbler earlier this year, and I’ve officially given up my beloved Yeti that I carried around for years. My main reason for switching was because I got braces earlier this year, and my teeth kept banging into the mouthpiece of my Yeti and I started getting concerned that I was going to break a bracket. Therefore, I decided to switch to something with a straw, and I couldn’t love it more! Who knew I’d appreciate the handle as much as I do?! These things are awesome, and they come in different sizes to fit your needs. I personally love the 30 oz. version, and I cannot recommend these enough if you consume a lot of fluids. They keep cold drinks ice cold for hours and they also keep hot drinks hot for hours, and I cannot rave about mine enough. They come in a huge variety of colors and patterns so there’s something for everyone. And if you can't find them on Amazon, you can also find them here at Target and here at Dick's Sporting Goods.
2 – Daily Devotions from Psalms by Joyce
Meyer
I love a good devotional, and I’ve already made my way through two different ones by Joyce Meyer, so when I came across this Daily Devotions from Psalms by her, I couldn’t add it to my wish list fast enough. She sure does have a gift for writing… nearly every entry resonates with me on so many levels. Psalms is such a joyful book in the Bible, and I think this would make a great gift for any lady who wants to start her day off on a positive note.
3 – Rothy’s Ballet Flats
I am a huge fan of Rothy’s – I own two pairs – and they recently released their new ballet flat, and I think they are just the cutest. They make great shoes for everyday wear, and they’re also a great option to pair with work wear as they’re stylish and sophisticated, but they’re also comfortable. These are pricey, but they are worth every single penny. Rothy’s are sustainably crafted from plastic water bottles. That may sound odd, but they are so comfortable. There is a zero break-in period so they’re comfortable straight out of the box. And because they’re made from plastic water bottles, the entire shoe is machine-washable! That was the biggest selling point for me. Just pull the soles out, throw the shoes and the soles in the washing machine, wash on a cold delicate cycle, and then let them air-dry, and they come out as good as new. These are some of the most comfortable shoes in my closet – and the only pair of flats that I’ve ever owned that don’t slip on my heel – I highly recommend them for everyone.
4 – Cozy Pajamas
The Stars Above brand from Target is one of my favorite pajama brands as they are always excellent quality without the expensive price tag that you’d get from purchasing pajamas from a department store. This set comes in eight different colors/patterns and it’s only $25. The set is super soft, and the pants come with an adjustable drawstring for the perfect fit.
5 – Barrington Tote
My love for Barrington bags runs deep! Brian and the kids bought one for me for Mother’s Day in 2021, and I now own three of them because I love them so much. They have all held up phenomenally for daily use – mine all still look brand new so I can attest to the quality – and I cannot say enough great things about them. The “Savannah Zippered Tote” is my personal favorite style/size. It’s large enough to hold all of my things plus a book and sweater, but it’s not obnoxiously large. I also love that the Savannah tote has the key loop inside so I can just clip my keys inside and have them at my fingertips at all times… no more keys falling to the bottom of my bag!! The Savannah tote also has an outside zipper pocket which I LOVE. It’s a great place to store my phone and my hand sanitizer… things that I use often and don’t want to have to unzip the entire bag for! The bags are all very sturdy, the stitching has held up, and the leather looks even more beautiful with age. The main part of the bag is made from water-resistant nylon canvas so they’re sturdy and they also wipe clean!! The bags are SUPER customizable and there are probably thousands of combinations that you could do for personalization. The canvas comes in a gazillion colors and patterns, the leather comes in three different colors, and you can have your initials or name printed on the side (in tons of different colors) or you can have them engraved in the leather. The bags themselves are light as air, and that’s one of my very favorite things about them… I put so much stuff in mine that they’re heavy enough already. I don’t need the bag adding extra weight, too. I cannot recommend these bags enough! They would make a great gift!
6 – Cozy Socks
Cozy socks always make an awesome gift, and these come in several colors and they’re very affordable. Perfect for a stocking stuffer.
7 – Mama Necklace
This necklace is so unique and beautiful, and it would make a lovely gift for a new mom or any mom. It's sterling silver with 18-karat gold plating, and gorgeous mother-of-pearl.
8 – Birdie Personal Alarm
This Birdie personal alarm is a small and easy way to protect yourself or a loved one from potential attacks. When threatened, remove the top pin to activate the alarm, and your Birdie will sound a loud siren and start a flashing strobe-light, hopefully deterring your attacker. This is such a great gift for any woman, especially college students and women who live alone.
9 – AeroGarden Hydroponic Indoor Garden
This Aerogarden Hydroponic Indoor Garden is perfect for the crazy plant lady (or man) in your life! Grow six plants up to 12 inches tall five times faster than using soil… no soil is required. This set comes with a 6-pod seed kit (heirloom salad), plant food, and a power adaptor.
10 – Simplified Planner
This item will always and forever be on my gift guides because they are so fantastic. I have used the Simplified Planner for the past five years, and it’s by far the best planner I’ve ever owned. Designed for simplicity, it has everything you need and nothing that you don’t, and it’ll help you get your life organized and keep your life organized. Each daily planner contains a monthly spread for each of the twelve months + one page per day so you can keep track of your schedule and to-do list day-by-day. It also has a notes space at the bottom of each page so you can customize that to your liking. I can’t think of a better gift than the gift of organization! The SP also comes in a weekly option for those who don’t need a full page for a day.
11 – Fuzzy Slippers
Fuzzy slippers are a great gift, and these smiley face slippers are such a cute throwback to the 90’s. They come in lots of different colors, and the quality is great! The price is awesome, too!
12 – Zipper Pouches
These zipper pouches are excellent quality, they’re durable, and they are perfect for organizing handbags, carry-ons, and luggage. They come in several different colors and patterns, and two different sizes, and they would make a great gift… you could even fill them with a few fun items before gifting them.
13 – 1,000 Things You Don’t Know About
Me
Journaling is a great way to blow off steam, ease anxiety, and settle your mind, and this journal contains 1,000 different prompts to get the mind going. This is perfect for the person who wants to establish new healthy habits for the new year.
14 – Stanley Tumbler Name Plates
This may be my favorite item on the whole list, y’all… how cute (and bougie!) are these Stanley tumbler name plates? You can customize them with any name, and there are multiple plate colors, fonts, and font colors from which to choose… the perfect stocking stuffer for the girl who loves her Stanley.
And that’s it,
y’all! I hope you got some great ideas,
either for your loved ones or for your own wish lists. I’ll also be doing gift guides for the guys,
for tiny kids, for older kids, and for teens so stay tuned for more ideas!
Happy Wednesday, y’all!
