Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is officially underway, and she’ll be heading our way in less than two weeks! EEK!
People are going ALL OUT dressing up for her shows, so I’ve been looking for the perfect outfit to wear. Y’all know I love any reason to dress up, and you probably also know that I love a good theme, so I have been having way too much fun with this!
Each of the outfits below was put together to represent either one of her albums or one of her songs, or a combination of a couple of them.
Are you ready for it? ;o)
The “Midnights” Outfit
Taylor’s newest album, “Midnights,” has quickly become one of my favorites of hers, so I thought it would be fun to come up with a “Midnights” themed outfit.
This dress is black with midnight purple and dark turquoise sequins, and it shimmers just like the nighttime stars. I wore it for a ball earlier this year, and it’s seriously one of my favorite dresses of all-time. I received countless complements the night I wore it, and it made me feel like a million bucks, so I’ve been wanting a reason to wear it again. I paired it with these sparkly silver star earrings and a pair of cowboy boots (because OG Taylor) and it’s the perfect “Midnights” outfit.
The “Lover”
Outfit
Taylor’s “Lover” album is another favorite, and I think this pink, fluffy dress couldn’t be more perfect to represent that album. If you’re looking for a dress that embodies romance, then look no further than this one. The silhouette is amazing, the fabric is silky and delicate, the cutouts add interest, and the color is vibrant, but romantic. It’s a show-stopper for sure! I paired it with these pink sparkly heart earrings, this gold heart necklace, and cowboy boots, and it’s the perfect “Lover” themed outfit.
“Lavender Haze” is one of my favorite songs from the “Midnights” album, and this lavender dress is perfection. It’s so feminine and sweet (those straps!!), but I love the shorter hem because it gives it a slight edge. I paired it with these cute gold star earrings (another nod to the “Midnights” album), a dainty gold heart necklace, and cowboy boots, and it’s the perfect “Lavender Haze” themed outfit. I suggest sizing up one size on the dress! I'm in the small, but a medium probably would have worked better.
The “Reputation” Outfit
“Reputation,” is my second favorite Taylor Swift album of all-time… it was the first album of hers that had an edge to it, and it was that edge (and those song lyrics on that whole album!) that really made me fall in love with her as an artist. She most definitely made a statement with that album.
Well, an edgy album deserves an edgy dress, and this pink sequin dress couldn’t fit the bill more! I paired it with these fun disco ball earrings as a nod to “Mirrorball” on her “Folklore” album (my all-time favorite Taylor Swift album!) and some cowboy boots, and I can’t think of a better combo to make a statement.
Also, don’t
forget your clear stadium bag! I own and
love this one, and I also own and love this one because you can change the
straps out! Beaded straps are super
trendy right now, and these and these couldn’t be more perfect for a
Taylor Swift concert!
These clear stadium bags are also darling!
Happy Wednesday,
y’all!
Gabbie was telling me what fancy dress she'd wear if she had tickets...
ReplyDeleteI have loved seeing everyone putting their tour outfits together! Love the sparkles!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these. I think Midnights is my favorite. I was hoping she would pick Maroon as one of the mystery songs on our stop, but no such luck. I think the Reputation part of the concert was my favorite. I didn't know it was a thing, but my girls made a bunch of beaded bracelets and traded them with other concert goers, so fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun! I think I like the Reputation dress best. I have heard that the concert is HOT and long, so make sure you are comfy and ready to stand a long time. Can't wait to hear about it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so amazing! I don't know which is my favorite, but I will say the "Reputation" dress is soooo fun! How exciting you have tickets!!! I've been looking at Chicago and Detroit since I'm basically in-between those two places, but I've found nothing unless I'm willing to pay 56 billion dollars. LOL! Seriously, Brian is awesome for not only getting those, but also for the way it was presented!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI commented on your IG reel, but #1 and #4 are still my favorite! Can't wait to see which one you pick!
