We are huge fans of Moscow Mules in our house, and we’ve been drinking them for many years… long before they became trendy. They don’t require a lot of ingredients so they’re easy to make, and they’re perfect for summertime because they’re light and refreshing.
I typically serve Moscow Mules in our trusty rusty copper mugs that we’ve had for years, but for the sake of photographing, I served these in a cocktail glass so you can see the delicious fizz. Are these pictures making you thirsty? ;o)
Copper Mugs or cocktail glasses (we love these copper mugs and these glasses)
Muddler (we
love this one)
Buy It
6 Mint Leaves
1 oz. Fresh
Lime Juice (we also keep Cocktail Artist lime juice on hand in the event that
we don’t have a lime)
2 oz. Vodka (we
love Tito’s!)
6 oz. Ginger
Beer (Fever Tree is the GOAT!)
Sprig of Fresh
Mint to garnish
Make It
1.
Tear
the mint leaves in half and place them in the bottom of a copper mug/cocktail
glass.
2.
Add
lime juice and muddle.
3.
Add
vodka and ginger beer.
4.
Fill
the rest of the mug/glass with ice and stir.
5.
Garnish
with fresh mint.
Cheers, y’all!
It sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a moscow mule in years, but they are so refreshing!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely trying this! Thanks for the tip on the Fever Tree brand, too!
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome! We've tried several different brands and nothing compares to Fever Tree!
DeleteThis looks so refreshing!
ReplyDeletei love a moscow mule!
ReplyDeleteYou have my mouth watering! This looks so refreshing! We have fresh mint in our garden, so I am going to pin this and enjoy it sometime very soon. I love how you suggest which brand for each ingredient to buy. I am not as knowledgable on what to buy when it comes to cocktails! Lol! I drink mostly wine, but I do love a cocktail every now and then. Does the cocktail book contain mostly simple cocktails (not too many ingredients or fuss)? I may check it out!
