We did our own photos for 2020 yet again using a tripod and a camera with a timer. We used the same park that we’ve used in previous years, but this year we decided to find a different spot in the park, and I much prefer the new location. The greenery was more lush, the colors of the leaves were more rich, and there were fewer rocks and dead weeds on the ground. :o)
The day we took our pictures it was very cloudy, which was good for Jacob’s cooperation as he hates opening his eyes in the sunlight, but bad for the lighting for the photos. I was able to brighten and warm them up a bit when I edited, but they’re still not as good as they could have been had it been a sunny day. You just can’t fake natural sunlight!
Without further ado, here they are…
Beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Carrie!
DeleteI am so impressed that you take these photos yourselves with a tripod!! They're all so good!! I love Olivia's dress! xo, Biana BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteYou are a pro with that tripod - they seriously look professional! We deal with the squinty eyes too with Grace. It's so funny how Jack can have a great picture taken in bright sunlight, and Grace can barely open her eyes. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those beautiful faces! You did a great job with your tripod! These all look so good!
ReplyDeleteThey look great. Very impressive that you take them yourselves. love the last one, so funny!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I never would have guessed you did them yourselves - amazing!

ReplyDeleteI love these photos. They come out so good every year. I think we need to do more photo taking with a tripod too. And Olivia's skirt is darling!
