Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board + a List of Pink and Red Foods

We’re huge fans of charcuterie/cheese boards around here so I have another festive one comin’ at ya today!  I have to say, this Valentine’s charcuterie board was even more fun to put together than the Halloween one was.  Don’t get me wrong, I love everything about Halloween, but pink and hearts and all things girly is my love language.  Plus there are way more options for pink and red foods than there are black and orange.  I never realized how few black and orange foods there were until I set out to do that Halloween board.

Anyhoo, today I’m sharing my Valentine’s Day board and I had way too much fun styling it for the photo shoot.  I loaded this one up with sweets because I just couldn’t resist, but there are plenty of healthy options to choose from if you didn’t want the junk food.  Ready for the details?

Use It

Wood serving board or platter (I have this one and I love it!  The wood is gorgeous in person and I love that it has a handle… it adds functionality as well as an extra pop of class.  It comes in two sizes, too.)

Buy It

Extra sharp cheddar cheese (it’s white instead of yellow/orange)
Mini sliced salami
Rosemary crackers (I get the Archer Farms brand from Target or the Great Value brand from Walmart and they’re both soooo good)
Strawberries
Raspberries

Make It

1.      Arrange all items on a serving board or platter.
2.      Decorate with fun accessories.

This would make for the cutest lunch/snack/dessert to have with your main squeeze or your littles!    Here is a list of foods by color… lots of possibilities for this one!

Red/Pink:

Salami
Strawberries
Raspberries
Red Grapes
Watermelon (you could cut it into hearts!)
Red apples
Cherries
Cranberries (or Craisins)

Red Hots

Red Skittles
Pink/Red frosting to spread on cookies
Pink/Red yogurt to dip cookies in

    1. Yes! When I did my Halloween board that one was a bit of a challenge. There just aren't very many orange and black foods. But there are a lot of red and pink!
