Five on Friday - This is My Grown-Up Christmas List for 2019

Now that all of my gift guides for 2019 are out of the way, I thought I’d share a few things that are on my wish list!

O N E – Home

Desk Chair – I only need three more things for my home office and it’ll be complete!  EEK!  I’ve been looking for a neutral chair with armrests that won’t break the bank, and this Amazon Basics chair fits the bill.  It has great reviews, too!

Keyboard Tray – I bought a new desk earlier this year, but when I’m sitting, I’ve found that the keyboard sits too high on the desk (and also takes up too much room on my desk) so this undermount keyboard tray will solve two problems – it will free up my desktop and it will allow the keyboard to rest at a more comfortable level for my arms.  This one seems to be the only one that will fit on my desk and it has excellent reviews.

T W O – Clothes

Puffer Jacket (Size - Small, Color - Creme) – I’m in desperate need of a warm winter jacket as I don’t have one at all, so this is near the top of my wish list for the year.  My requirements are that it needs to be a puffer jacket that is long enough to cover my butt, it needs to be white, and it has to have a hood.  Check, check, and CHECK!  This one is a #1 best seller and with 2,374 reviews and 4 stars you can't go wrong!

Ruffle Shift Dress (Size - Small, Color - Purple) – I have this dress in olive green with dots and I love it so much that I want it in purple, too.  I don’t have much purple and I just love this shade!

Babydoll Swing Dress (Size - Small, Color - Leopard) – How cute is this dress?!  It’s perfect for the transition to fall and winter when it’s still hot outside here.  Transitional pieces like this one are so important here in the south.

Loft Flecked TurtleneckPoncho Sweater (Size - Small, Color - Snow Speckle) – I’ve seen this sweater all around blogland and it looks fantastic on everyone.  I don’t have a poncho sweater and I’ve been wanting one, and this one is just gorgeous.

PeplumTop (Size - Small, Color - White with Black Stripes) – Peplum tops are always some of my favorite to wear during the winter because they’re super easy to throw on, but they make you look incredibly feminine and put together.  And I’ve never met a white top with black stripes that I didn’t like.  ;o)

Waffle Knit Top (Size - Medium, Color - Black) – I don’t have many black tops that I can just relax in and I love this Amazon one.

Graphic Tee (Size - Small??, Color - Dark Grey) – Y’all know how much I love a good graphic tee and if this one doesn’t just scream Lindsay then I don’t know what does!  I couldn’t love the rainbow lettering more and I also feel like this will be perfect to go along with my word for 2020.  Not sure about the sizing for this one, though... could go with a small or medium...

Black Bralette (Size - Medium, Color - Black) – This is a major need for me right now to wear under lots of different tops, especially during the summer.

White Bralette (Size - Medium, Color - White) – I need a white one, too!  It’s been on my list forever.  I have a feeling I’ll be reaching for the white one a lot more often, so I’d like one that’s good quality so it’ll last.

T H R E E – Accessories

Gold Necklaces – I feel like I wear the same long gold necklace over and over again and I’d like to have some variety.  I love this set from Amazon because it doesn’t break the bank.

Black Necklace – I have zero long black necklaces and I’m constantly finding myself wishing for one, especially this time of year when I’m wearing lots of Georgia red and black.  This is high on my wish list for the year.

Choose Joy Bracelet – I feel like I struggle to choose joy when I’m in situations that make me frustrated or anxious and I want to start wearing a reminder on my wrist every day.  May seem silly to some of you, but I really think it’ll be nice to have the constant reminder.  There are also a couple of other phrases I'd like.

Leopard Key Ring – These are the best key rings of all time since you can wear them on your wrist to keep your hands free, and I want this leopard one for fall and winter.  My light pink sparkly one is more appropriate for spring and summer.

F O U R – Books

When Less Becomes More – I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited for a book!  I just adore Emily Ley and everything she stands for and I’ve been waiting for this book for months.  I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it!  Yet another thing that’s going to accommodate me in 2020.

New York in Color – I’ve been slowly making changes to the décor in our living room all year and I just need one more book for my book stack on our DVD dresser.  This is the one!

Friends Forever: The One About the Episodes – It’s no secret that I’m a Friends fanatic so I need this book to add to my collection!

Holiday Cookies – I’ve had this book in my wish list for a couple of years as I’d like to include it in my holiday home décor.

F I V E – Gift Cards

AMAZON!!!!  And that’s pretty much it.  Because that’s pretty much where everything is from.  Hahahaha.

Other wants that I can’t find online – a bread basket, a fiddle leaf fig for our dining room, nude heels, long work-out tanks, a long Georgia work-out tank, and a throw pillow for my office chair.

Now for the Friday funnies… y'all, this cat meme has had me in stitches for two weeks straight.  I have literally seen a hundred of these and I laugh so hard every single time I see a new one.  I am obsessed.
