It’s been a hectic week and we have a hectic (but super fun) weekend on deck, too! So. Many. Things. this time of year, y’all. So many. At least they’re all fun! Let’s get right to some favorites… I’m going to try to keep it short and sweet this week. Well, short-ish. Y’all know me… always lengthy! Haha.
O N E – Rach Parcell Christmas Collection
I’ve been reading Rach
Parcell’s blog for years and she’s always been one of my favorites to turn to
for fashion and home decoration inspiration.
She started her own clothing line at Nordstrom a couple of years ago and
I always enjoy looking at all of her pieces, even though they’re all way out of my price range.
This week she announced a Christmas home collection and I nearly died when I saw these stockings. I swear, last Christmas I literally looked all
over creation for stockings exactly like these.
I had an idea of exactly what I wanted in my head (knit, ivory, and covered
in pom poms), but never found any. Now
here they are a year later, after I already settled for something else (less
good) that I found at Target last year.
Face palm.
They are absolute perfection
– the knitting, the creamy shade of ivory, the tassel, and the pom poms –
SWOON!!!! However, these are $49 each, so way, way more than I would ever pay for Christmas stockings, but a girl
can dream, right?
T W O – New Christmas Tree for My Office
PSA, Michaels is currently offering Black Friday prices on all of their artificial Christmas trees! I’ve had the same 3-foot tree in my office
for 15 years (it was used at my corporate office for the majority of the time,
but it’s now in my home office), but it’s been a little worse for wear the last
couple of years. Since I was in the
market for something new, I decided to change it up and get a full-size
tree. However, my office is pretty small
and it’s also full of furniture, so there is only one wall where I could put a
tree, but it’s very narrow.
I started searching for pencil
trees as those are tall, but skinny, and lo and behold, just a couple of days
after I started looking, Heather posted a picture of this tree on her
blog. I immediately reached out to her
to find out where she’d gotten it because it looked exactly like what I needed!
Turns out it was this one
from Michaels! It’s 7-feet tall and
pre-lit with 200 lights and it’s currently on sale for only $39.99, marked down
from $109.99!!!! I couldn’t add it to my
cart fast enough, y’all!! I ordered mine
online to guarantee the Black Friday pricing, and it was ready for pick-up at
my local store in just two hours. I’ve
already assembled it (super easy and quick) and now I’m working on my
decorations for it. I have the best idea for mine and I cannot wait
to see it come together and share it with you!!
EEK!
T H R E E – Hocus Pocus 2?!
Switching gears from Christmas
back to Halloween… did y’all see this?!
Disney Plus is working on a Hocus Pocus sequel!!!! None of the OG ladies have signed on yet, but
oh my gosh, I hope they can make that
happen!!!! I will so sign up for Disney
Plus just to see that!!!!
F O U R – A Rainbow Letter Board… It’s Like it was
Made Specifically for Me
Letter Boards are still
making the rounds, and even though I’ve had mine for years, I still haven’t
tired of it. I was doing a little bit of
Amazon exploring the other day while I was working on a Christmas gift guide,
and I came across this listing for letter boards in all kinds of different
colors – they have every solid color imaginable, lots of different ombre boards
including pink, green, and grey, and they also have this rainbow board!!!!
I already have two letter
boards – one in our kitchen and one in my office – but now I want this one,
too. Haha. Y’all know I’m the rainbow lady! This would be the cutest gift for a teenage
girl or a teacher for her classroom. Or Lindsay
for her office. Haha.
F I V E – Fa La La La La La La La La
Our local radio station started playing nonstop
Christmas music two days before Halloween and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!! Give me all the cozy Christmas tunes, y’all!
Now for the Friday funnies…
The absolute worst is when you're already cozy in the bed and you have to get out and go all the way downstairs to grab your wallet. Ha! |
So me! |
Lol. Errrrythang is a wiretap now! |
I'd rather keep my eyes closed and run into something than run the risk waking myself up. |
And ICYMI, this week’s blog
posts…
Happy Friday, y’all!
*Linking up with A Little Bit of Everything for Friday Favorites and Della Devoted for High Five for Friday.
Too funny about the pencil tree because I just got my 3rd one from Michaels. I had gotten 2 last year and grabbed another this week. It’s the perfect slimness. Too funny, I just saves that 4am bathroom meme this week, so me. Have the best weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteThose funnies are too good! I cannot wait to see how your tree turns out! And I think I would get Disney Plus, too, if the original ladies were in Hocus Pocus 2.
ReplyDeleteI totally want more Christmas trees... I think Matt would not be pleased. And that wire tap meme... hehehe....
ReplyDeleteLol. We put up five every year!
DeleteIf the original Hocus Pocus is on Disney Plus I can finally watch it! My kids are insisting we get Disney Plus as soon as it releases. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a Christmas tree for your office! I got a little one to put in my daughter's room but I might have to steal it for my dental operatory instead!!! What a fun list of gift ideas for littles. My 1 year old daughter has many of those toys already! xox Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI love that tree, might have to snag one. I lol'ed at your funnies. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSJP posted on her Instagram that the original 3 were signed on to do a remake of Hocus Pocus.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!!!! YAAAASSSS! Thanks for letting me know!
DeleteI love that you're putting a tree in your office! I want to put one in like every room but I need to stockpile enough ornaments first lol. I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletethe meme about getting up and getting your credit card is soo true. Ha. I had mine memorized until it was stolen. Ha. I love the tree for your office. And you got a screaming deal on it. I want those stockings as well, but they are soooo pricey. I bought mine from Pottery Barn during sales in years previous. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is such a great deal on that tree. I'm going to check it out this weekend. Have a great weekend - stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous deal on your tree; I can't wait to see what you do with it! We had to buy a new tree last year (as we noticed ours giving off a funny melting/ burning plastic smell Christmas morning) and I can't wait to put up the new tree and see what it looks like outside of the box.
ReplyDeleteYes, I couldn't believe how good it was. And the tree is such great quality! How scary about your tree. It'll be exciting to have a new one this year, though!
