It’s time for another edition of what we ordered from Amazon! September was probably an average month for us on Amazon… we ordered a handful of items we needed, a couple we didn’t, and then I also ordered a couple of things for Christmas. Are y’all ready to see what we bought?
Babydoll Dress
I ordered this dress for our
fall family pictures and I’ll probably also wear it for Thanksgiving and
Christmas as well. It might just be one
of my favorite Amazon fashion purchases to date. The quality is great, the price is awesome,
and it comes in lots of other colors, including solids if you’re not one for
polka dots. It runs large, so size
down. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly,
but it is definitely a loose-fitting style.
It looks cute alone, or if you don’t like the billowy look, you can remedy
that with a belt. It’s darling either
way!
Pilot Precise Pens
I’ve been using these pens
since high school and they’re the only pens I’ll ever use. This color selection is my very favorite as I
use them to color code the calendar in my planner. They’re usually pretty pricey, but Amazon has
this particular set waaaay cheap! They were only
$5.99 when I bought them!
Kate Spade Polka Dot Mug
These mugs have been in my
wish list for years, so when I saw that Amazon had dropped the price to just
$6.99 I went ahead and grabbed one to add to my every day coffee mug
collection. I have lots of black polka
dots in our décor downstairs, and I’ve had the matching bowls and hand towels
so this mug is the perfect match.
Digital Timer Bookmarks
Jacob has to read 20 minutes
and then do a reading response sheet Monday – Wednesday for homework. Some days he just reads as long as he wants,
but on days where we have baseball practice or other activities, we only have
time to do the minimum of 20 minutes.
I’ve been using the timer on my phone to get his time in, but when these digital bookmarks popped up as a lightning deal, I thought he’d think they were
cool to have. I scooped one for each kid
during the lightning deal and I’m going to put them in their stockings for
Christmas. I thought it would be
something different to put in there besides the typical chapstick, stickers,
and candy that usually goes in there.
Almay Eye Palette
I’ve been using this same eye shadow palette for years and I recently discovered that Amazon has it
cheaper than any other place, including Walmart. I guess I should have known that anyway! My current palette was on its way out, so I
went ahead and ordered two of these babies to have for the future.
Benefiber
My reflux doc wanted me to
start including Benefiber into my daily diet for my reflux/digestion issues, so
I grabbed it on Amazon. I haven't started using it yet, but I'll let y'all know how I like it when I do. #OldLadyStatus
Eyebrow Pencil
These Maybelline eyebrow pencils are my favorite and I was almost out of my current one, so I bought two
on Amazon. As with pretty much
everything else, they’re cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else!
Command Strips
I hang pretty much
everything with these Command Strips and we were almost out, so I bought these
to replenish our stock. I keep them on
hand at all times. I’ve been using them
for years and they’re perfect for hanging weird things that you can’t hang with
nails. They’re also perfect for hanging
things inside cabinets and other places where you don’t want to damage
the surface. I’ve been using them for
years and years and never once have any of them ever damaged a surface. They truly come off clean and I can’t rave
about them enough!
Flonase Sensimist
Per my doctor’s
recommendation, I use this Flonase Sensimist year-round for my allergies and Eustachian tube
issues and it’s by far the cheapest on Amazon, even when you have a Walmart
coupon! If you’ve ever suffered from
breathing/stuffy nose issues during a cold or allergies, this stuff is
MAGIC. I started using it almost three
years ago and I’ve literally not had a stuffy or clogged nose since then...
even when I’m sick. And it’s safe to use
all the time… it’s not addictive like the old-school steroid nasal sprays. I cannot recommend this stuff enough!
Amazon Gift Card
Finally, an Amazon gift card… because you can’t go wrong giving one of those to someone for a
gift! We celebrated my brother this past
weekend and that’s what he got since he’s so hard to buy for. If you buy an Amazon gift card on Amazon,
they’ll ship it for free in one day! You
can’t go wrong with that! And they have
soooo many cute and fun gift card options, too, that you can’t get in any
store!
Well, that’s it, y’all! If you want to see what we’ve ordered in past
months, check out the posts below.
Those bookmarks are really neat! Such a perfect stocking stuffer.

ReplyDeleteSome good finds! That dress, can't wait to see your photos! Command strips are life. Mine is going live tomorrow. I bought too much this month! haha!
ReplyDeleteThose bookmarks would have been great when my kids were required to read every night! They spent more time watching the clock than actually reading.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. I could definitely see that happening!
DeleteI love the idea of the timer bookmark. I bet I will need those for when my girls start reading more. I love that dress so much. I used to use that Flonase too.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is adorable! As are the kate Spade mugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a deal on those pens! Michael recently started taking fiber for his cholesterol...it definitely makes you feel old when you are talking about things like fiber. Ha, ha! Thanks for linking up with Prime Purchases! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road
