Five on Friday – My Birthday Wish List

*This post may contain affiliate links, which means at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through or make a purchase.

In the spirit of my upcoming birthday month (April) I thought I’d share some things on my wish list right now.  I love doing these for my birthday as well as Christmas just because it’s neat to go back and see how my tastes and fashion choices change throughout the years.

I also love to have everything on my wish list summed up in one post because then whenever I end up with a gift card or extra spending money I can just click on the post and everything I want is right there waiting for me!  All I have to do is make the decision.  Seeing all of the pictures in one place also enables me to prioritize which items I’d like to purchase first.

Most of the stuff on my wish list this year are large items to complete our home once and for all, so this is probably the biggest wish list I’ve ever had!

O N E – For the Home

Woven Wicker Serving Tray Khaki Threshold – I want two of these… one for each of our nightstands to add some depth and texture.

Montreal Wren Assembled Table Lamp White Project 62 – I want two of these as well… one for each of our nightstands.  Our lamps are outdated and they’re also too small.

Stitched Medallion Quilt Opalhouse, Blush, King Size – The finishing touch for our master bedding makeover.

Davinci Jayden 4-Drawer Dresser, White – I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect piece to go in our living room to house our large DVD collection, and I’ve come to the conclusion that a chest of drawers will be the best option.  The space where the furniture will sit is pretty awkward, so the piece needs to be exactly 36x36.  It also needs at least four shelves/drawers to be large enough to hold all of the DVDs we have, so that’s a requirement as well.  I have browsed media cabinets, media chests, and media storage for YEARS, and I have come up empty handed every time.  I finally stumbled upon this one on Amazon the other day and I cannot believe how perfect it is!  It’s simple and classic and checks every box!

West Elm Candlewick Blanket, Full/Queen – We keep a good snuggly blanket downstairs at all times because someone (usually me) uses it every single night while we’re watching TV and winding down for the day.  Our current one is frankly an embarrassment – it’s torn on all four corners, it’s battered, and it’s covered in stains because – KIDS.  This one from West Elm might be the dreamiest throw blanket I’ve ever seen.  Y’all know I’m the queen of polka dots, so that pattern is perfection, and I want nothing more than to have this on my couch now!

Kenya Fleece Tufted Rug Project 62, Cream, 7x10 – We’ve been living in our house for almost ten years and we STILL do not have an area rug in our living room.  Sigh.  I’m suuuuper picky about rugs and rarely do I ever see anything I would even consider.  Well, #TargetDoesItAgain, because this one would be perfect in our space!  And I don’t think it’s so trendy that I’ll be tired of it in five years.

Pottery Barn Mia Faceted-Crystal Chandelier, Small – I currently have a ceiling fan in my office that I never use so I’d like to switch it out for a chandelier.  This one from Pottery Barn is soooo dreamy, but pricey.  If anyone has ever seen a dupe anywhere for this one let me know!

World Market Warm Ivory Elsie Upholstered Office Chair – When we first moved in our house, I bought a $20 hot pink desk chair at Staples to hold me over until I could get something nicer.  Well, here we are nine years later and I’m still using said chair.  I think it’s safe to say that we’ve gotten our money’s worth from it and it’s also safe to say that my butt and back could benefit from something a little more substantial.  I’ve had my eye on this desk chair from World Market for months… it will go perfectly in there!

World Market Multicolor Felt Triangle Flag Garland – While we’re on the subject of World Market, I stumbled across this little banner and I love it so much!  I’m a sucker for rainbow stuff and I want this for my bulletin board in my office.  Kind of random compared to everything else, I know, though!  Ha!

Homeelegance Lucille Fabric Upholstered Pub Barrel Chair, Beige – I am going to get rid of the chevron chest and replace it with a cozy chair.  I've been wanting a nice place to read in my office and right by the window is the perfect spot!

Convenience Concepts American Heritage Round White Table – We have this exact table in our bedroom and I LOVE IT SO MUCH.  It's gorgeous!  I'd love to have one in my office as well.  I need a place to put a lamp next to my reading chair!

Refrigerator and Freezer Storage Bin with Lid, Set of 3, Clear – I want this set of three to house all of the medicine/first aid/sunscreen in our master bathroom.  They are the perfect size for my needs!

Ameriwood Home Parsons Deluxe Desk, White – I’ve outgrown my current desk and would like something a little bigger.  This one is perfect because it would enable me to get my printer off of my desktop and down on the bottom shelf.  No more eyesore and, most importantly, MORE SPACE!

Unique Loom Modern Plush Solid Shag Contemporary Area Rug, Pure Ivory, 7x10 – I’ve also wanted an area rug under our master bed for years and never made that a priority either.  We’re doing our room in whites and creams and blushes right now and I think that this rug will be the perfect touch in there.  And it should never go out of style because it’s simple and classic.

Serene House Supernova Electric Aromatherapy Diffuser, White – I’m starting to dabble in essential oils and I’d love a diffuser for our bedroom.  This one is so dreamy!  It would look gorge on my nightstand!

West Elm Fringe Blanket, White, Full/Queen – My name is Lindsay and I’m a blanket hoarder.  I want this one to put at the foot of Olivia’s bed.

T W O – Clothes

ECOWISH Womens Dress, Blue Plaid, Small – I would love this for our beach trip in June!  So classic!

Wildtrest Women's Pleated Tassel Trim Strappy Loose Casual Flowy Tank Tops, Grey, Small – Looks like the perfect comfy staple for summer.  I'd love one in "Grey" and also one in "Navy Blue 2."

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Puffer Coat, Light Pink, Small – I know it’s weird to have this on my list in March, but I’m in need of a good warm jacket.  We don’t have too many super cold days here in Georgia, but when we do, I always freeze my hiney off because I don’t own a truly warm jacket.  My old puffer jacket is at least 13 years old and it’s so short it barely covers my belly button.  Haha.  I’m not even sure why I still have it.

Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Water-Resistant Packable Down Vest, Blush Pink, Small – Another thing I won’t need anytime soon, but it’s been in my Amazon wish list for a long time!

FASHION BOOMY Womens Zip Up Safari Military Anorak Jacket W/Hood, Olive, Small – This item is the perfect transition piece for spring and fall and it’s been in my wish list for a long time, too!  Love it!

T H R E E – Accessories

Rothy’s, The Flat, Flax Birdseye, 7.5 – Okay, I want to drink the Rothy’s Koolaide but these are way out of my budget.  I’m intrigued, though, especially since they are machine washable!  I live in flats during the winter and I’d love a good sturdy pair that will last for years.  My current ones were $6 at Walmart so I’m sure they’ll bite the dust soon.

Tatuo 8 Pairs Teardrop Leather Earrings – I love the leather earrings trend because they’re so lightweight… this set is perfect because it has every color I’d use… gold, rose gold, silver, grey, and black that would go with anything, red for Georgia games, and pink because it’s my favorite color.  :o)

Chantelle Intimates Soft Stretch Seamless Bikini – You know you’re getting old when you have underwear on your birthday wish list!  But seriously, I am THE PICKIEST about undies.  I like for them to be low on the hips, cover my whole butt and not ride up, and be seamless and thin so that they don’t show lines through your clothes… especially leggings.  I’ve tried so. many. kinds.  the last few years and I finally found the ones that have my heart.  Naturally they’re only sold at Nordstrom and cost and arm and a leg, but they’re worth every penny.  I'll take tons of these in all the colors, please!

Vintga Bamboo Handbag – Yes, these have been popular for a couple of years now so I’m a little late to the game, but I keep seeing this one on Amazon and thinking it would be absolutely perfect for our beach trip and date nights!

Jessica Simpson Women's Raquelle Flat Sandal, 7.5 – These have been in my wish list since 2016!  How fun would they be at the beach?  At one point last fall they had been reduced all the way to $27.99 at one point and I’m regretting not buying them then.

F O U R – Books

F I V E – Gift Cards

  6. That's a great wish list! That office chair is sooo cute, and love that PB chandelier. It's one of my favorites too. Keep your eye on Lowes for PB dupes. We got a great PB chandelier dupe for our dining room from there, for a fraction of the price!

  8. Rothy's are THE BEST investment. I've had my oldest pair for a year now and they look brand new. You know you can save $20 with a referral code, right?! I can't hook you up with that. ;)

  15. Oooh I hope you get all that you want for your birthday! Be careful with that World Market chair though--I order a similar looking loveseat from them and it was REALLY uncomfortable even though it looked so cute!

  16. I LOVE that white desk; our office desk is literally falling apart and I have used wood glue to hold it together for more years than I'd like to admit but have just not had the effort to go looking for something else to replace it with.

  17. I have heard that there are some skechers on amazon that are dupes of the Rothy's. I have not purchased them but someone I follow on IG (things.i.bought.and.liked) she has purchased them and raved about them.

  18. I have a similar wicker tray like that and it's one of my most used pieces in the spring and summer for when we eat outside. Check wayfair and lamps plus for a similar chandelier.
