Y’all know I don’t share a
lot of recipes here on the blog, so when I do, you know it’s going to be good! The thing about this bread is that it’s also
ridiculously easy – only four ingredients – and don’t worry, the alcohol
evaporates while it bakes so it’s perfectly safe for little ones to eat. Our kids actually had nice, thick slices a
couple of weeks ago when my Momma made beef stew!
Buy It
3 cups self-rising flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 12 oz can of beer (my
Momma always uses Coors Light)
1 stick butter, melted
Make It
1.
Mix first three
ingredients together.
2.
Pour into a
buttered loaf pan.
3.
Pour melted
butter over the top.
4.
Bake at 375
degrees for 30-45 minutes.
Cut them into nice, thick
slices, spread a little bit of extra butter on each slice, and experience
heaven. I promise if you like bread, you’ll
be going back for seconds!
