Impromptu Photo Shoot in My Favorite New Tee

Today is the first Wednesday of the month which usually means that I have a What I Wore post up on the blog.  Today, however, I’m doing something a little different instead, but no worries, the What I Wore post will be up next week! 

This past weekend B and I took the kids to the park, and on a whim, I asked him to shoot a few pictures of me in my outfit for that day… I was just feeling so darn comfy and cute, and the light was perfection due to the thick mass of Georgia pines overhead, so I just couldn’t help myself.  Since we decided to take the pictures on the fly, sadly I didn’t have my fancy camera, so we had to make do with the ol’ iPhone.  Lesson learned – always keep the fancy camera on hand!

Anyway, I know you’re probably completely over hearing about the Nordstrom sale, but I just wanted to reiterate how much I L-O-V-E my new cutout choker tee from the sale!  It is so comfortable, the fabric is silky soft, and the choker detail adds a little bit of flair to an otherwise casual t-shirt.  I can dress it up with my favorite skinny jeans and wedges for a night out with the hubs (or the girls!) and I can dress it down with shorts for an average day like I did here.  Also, the neckline isn’t nearly as plunging as it appears on the website, so I would even feel comfortable wearing this to work with a pencil skirt (like this J. Crew Factory skirt that I can’t get enough of) and heels.  So versatile!

The very best part?  It’s currently on sale for only $17.90!  Y’all know I’m a bargain shopper when it comes to trendy clothes, so this price was right up my alley.  One final thing to note, it comes in lots of different colors so there are many more choices if you don’t love the mauve shade that I chose.
