First off, the way that she says
certain words is just so stinking cute!
September
2016 – Peanut butter and jelly sandwich is “peanut and jelly swimmich”
September
2016 – Chick-Fil-A is “Chick-A-Way”
March 2016 –
M&Ms are “nim nims”
Now for some
funnies…
December 25, 2015
Brian walks
into the room.
Olivia to Brian: “Hey
babe!”
(Because she hears me call him that all the time.)

We sometimes
let Jacob have Cap’n Crunch cereal for breakfast. One morning, Olivia asked for a few pieces so
I gave her some. She was so excited that
she started yelling, “I GOT CRAPPIN’ CRUNCH, JAY-CUB!” And she kept saying it over and over again… CRAPPIN’
crunch. I still laugh when I think about
it. Although, I guess that’s not the
first time she’s inadvertently had a potty mouth…
September 5, 2016
As we stepped
outside on this particularly hot day…
Olivia: “It’s
spicy outside!”
(Because apparently “spicy” and “hot” are always interchangeable. Lol.)

October 5, 2017
Olivia: “I
want to go tee tee on the big potty.”
Me: “OK” as I
sit her up on the big toilet.
Olivia:
“NOOOO!!!! I WANNA TEE TEE STANDING UP!”
(God bless her for wanting to do every single thing like her big brother does.)
(God bless her for wanting to do every single thing like her big brother does.)
October 7, 2016
“I love God soooo much… He not scary!” *While shaking her little head in
earnest.*
January 15, 2017
Olivia: “I
wanna go out of town.”
Me: “To
where?”
Olivia: “I
wanna do all the things!”
January 18, 2017
Olivia points
to a zit on my chin: “Mommy, you have polka dots on your face!”
January 25, 2017
Olivia: “I
think I’m not going to be able to tell Daddy because he’s in Ra-Taco… taco… hahahaha.”
(Brian was in
Chicago and that’s what she was trying to say, and then she cracked herself up
when she realized she had called it Ra-Taco.)
January 29, 2017
While riding
in the car listening to music…
Olivia: “I
wanna crack it up, Mommy!”
(Crank it up.)
(Crank it up.)
February 5, 2017
Olivia always
gets two jelly beans after she goes potty, and on this particular day, she
stands up and says, “Well, I’m not going to be able to have a treat since we
ate all the jelly beans.”
*Jacob’s eyes
are as big as saucers.*
Me: “Where
are the jelly beans?”
*Crickets*
After
prodding them for answers, we found out that they had shared the rest of the
entire bag of the jelly beans that we use for potty treats, and they had made
it two whole days without us finding out, until Olivia accidentally squealed.
February 28, 2017
Olivia on her
play cell phone: “Hello? Oh hey,
Cinderalla.”
*Pauses to
wait for Cinderella’s response.*
“I had a
wonderful day, yes! There was a dinosaur
in my room! OK, bye!”
And that’s
life with kids!
Don’t forget
to link up with us for our Girl Chat tomorrow… we’re talking about a time that
we were really lucky! See you then!
HA ha! I'm just waiting for Emmy to want to potty standing up too like her brother. We are going to potty train in about a month and I know that topic is going to come up.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Crappin' crunch is the best lol!

Oh my word! The jelly beans story is hilarious. I wonder what the conversation they had while they were eating those things. So, so funny!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this and miss the things my boys would come up with at that age!! It's Spicy actually captures out weather quite well sometimes!!! This is adorable!!

ReplyDeleteGosh I love these!!! She is so funny. I've been writing down things jack says and they are cracking me up.
ReplyDeleteOMG she is such a little doll. I love it. We are just getting into the 'funny things' toddlers say, I seriously cannot wait to watch it happen. This week Jackson looked at my husband and said 'Hey Michael'. HAHA his daddy was NOT happy and very sternly said you call me DADDY, not Michael ;-)
ReplyDeleteBaha ha! Marissa used to always intermix spicy and hot too. It's pretty much adorable. I love that she called Brian babe too. She is just the sweetest.
ReplyDeleteThis was hilarious. I laughed at all of them!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha these are awesome! Love that she called Brian babe! And CRAPPIN CRUNCH! OMG so funny!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I love keeping track of these things! :)
ReplyDeleteI want to do all the things too, Miss Olivia! What sweet answers. You wish some of this would never go away. Here's to more spicy days and crappin' crunch haha
ReplyDeleteThis post is SOOO adorable! I love how she says "M&M's". My little boy pronounces them "nem-e-nems". And I love it! I hope he never corrects it!
ReplyDeleteI know!!!! Those are just the sweetest things that you never want to go away. It's always so sad when they start pronouncing something correctly that they've been saying wrong for so long. :o(
DeleteHahaha! I would have a ball with her, she is adorable and I loved everything about this!

Oh my goodness, these are too cute! I'm not as good about documenting the things my kids say anymore, but I really should. These are the things we never want to forget!!!
ReplyDeleteYes they are, and I'm sure your babies will love to be able to look back on them one day!
DeleteConnor will not stand up. Unless he stands ON THE TOILET SEAT. What in the world?
