I don’t know
about you, but we love being outdoors this time of year (aside from the pollen,
of course) and we try to spend every spare second out there when the weather is
nice. The year before last we extended our covered back porch across the entire length of the back of the house, and it
was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Since then, we have spent countless evenings
eating dinner out there and watching the kiddos play in the yard as B and I sip
glasses of wine. There’s really nothing
like stepping out your back door into your own little paradise of twinkle lights,
cool breezes, and good music.
Since spring
is such a carefree time, we always tend to listen to lighter, happier tunes and
I’m sharing a few of my spring favorites today, so throw your hair up, grab a
glass of wine or a crisp cocktail, add these songs to your music playlist, and
kiss that post-Christmas funk goodbye!
What about
you? What are some of your favorite
tunes for spring?
That's what I like is a favorite of mine right now!
ReplyDeleteI have the Alabama Shakes Pandora station on repeat right now! It's been playing a lot of The Lumineers and Vance Joy....both of whom I really like!
ReplyDeleteSarah at MeetTheShaneyfelts
I don't listen to enough music! I need to check out like half of these songs LOL. LOVE wagon wheel and Homegrown though!
ReplyDeleteLove this! I need to add a few of those to my playlist.
ReplyDeleteAlso "I Need Never Get Old" by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats!
ReplyDeleteWell you should have told me about that one before I made the post!! :o*
DeleteWhat a fun play list! We love sitting outside in the evenings when the weather is warmer. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenna! Isn't it the best? We always only have such a short window before it starts getting way too hot, so we are enjoying it now!
DeleteThese are so great! I'm going to have to check out the songs I haven't heard of! Jealous you're having spring weather. It's in the 20s here still. :(
ReplyDeleteI am going to copy this list to a playlist on Spotify for the Spring. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteI am all about rocking out to the tunes outside too. Great list.
ReplyDeleteYes! We love to be outdoors too…except for the allergies and the bugs. But, we suck it up anyway because we love it so. I love this post! It’s so fun to see what others are listening to. I used to be obsessed with Ray Lamontagne.
ReplyDeleteYou seriously can't go wrong with some Dave Matthews! And, Darius Rucker's voice is like summer to me. Love your list. Can't wait to start spending more time outside!

DeleteThis is the best time of year for us to enjoy our porch...just before the heat and the mosquitos set in! I love asking Alexa to play us some easy listening or party music.
ReplyDeleteSo Can't stop the feeling from Trolls is on repeat but springy ;) and I love Cheap Thrills by Sia and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You makes me toe tap while driving ;) xoxo ERIN

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Brandi! We are enjoying it very much! And if you do check out any of the music, be sure to check out Ray LaMontagne first! He is AMAZING. I'm completely obsessed with him.
DeleteSo many good songs! I always tend to switch my playlists to country music when the weather warms up. I need to work on a new playlist for this year :) Thanks for the song ideas!
