Happy Monday,
all! We got back from a trip to the
mountains yesterday, so Sunday afternoon and evening were spent unpacking,
washing clothes, and getting settled back in and prepared for the upcoming
week. That being said, I didn’t have
time to recap any of our trip, but I didn’t want to leave you hanging on a Monday,
so here is a quick recap of our trip in numbers.
1 – Time that
we got asked if Jacob and Olivia are twins.
8 – Times that
the kids watched Frozen in the car.
(Wish I was kidding.)
6 – Other movies
that we brought that went unwatched because the kids only wanted to watch
Frozen.
16 – Times I
went insane from hearing “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Let It Go.”
6 – Different wines
tasted at the vineyard.
2 – Bottles of
wine purchased to bring home.
8 – Mini ice
cream sandwiches consumed at the mountain house.
145 – Gemstones found while gem grubbing.
3 – Things checked off of my personal bucket list (going to a vineyard/winery, apple picking and eating an apple cider donut).

3 – Things checked off of my personal bucket list (going to a vineyard/winery, apple picking and eating an apple cider donut).
17 – Apples picked
at the orchard.
At least 10 –
Times that I said how excited I was to be picking apples.
5 – Apple cider
donuts consumed at the orchard.
1 – (1/2 of
Jacob’s and 1/2 of Olivia’s) Apple cider donut that went to waste because
halfway through each of theirs, the kids said, “I doooon’t liiiike them.” WHAT?!?!
5 – Cups knocked
over at restaurants.
1 – Pumpkin Spice
Latte consumed.
4,863,462,125,908,442
– Gorgeous fall leaves that we saw.
Oh, and we can’t
forget...
1 – Time that
the kids locked B and me out of the mountain house and sheer panic ensued.
I’ll be back
tomorrow with the first half of the recap.
:o)

I love how you shared this trip. So fun! Looks like a blast and that you guys had a great time. I would have panicked about getting locked out too. I'm so glad everyone is safe. Isn't the Salted Carmel Mocha amazing? Amy told me about it too.
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with Salted Caramel Mocha's...yum, I think I might have to stop by and pick one up on the way to work -- it's Monday, so I NEED it. LOL!
ReplyDeleteOMG...they locked you out! Wow...I can't wait to hear about that!
