Happy Thursday,
friends! And today is my Friday!
It’s been far
too long since I’ve joined the confessions link-up and I’m itching to get some
things off my chest, so here we go!
I confess…
… that painting
– walls, that is – sucks. I’m still sore
from Sunday.
… that having
to go to work when you have a million things to do at home sucks.
… that missing
Jacob’s swimming lessons yesterday and today sucks.
<Ok, I’m done saying sucks now. Thank you for your patience.>
… that I’m
getting really tired of driving the Sequoia.
It’s just too big. I really want
to be able to park in the garage again. Shoot,
I really just want to be able to open
the garage again. I accidentally left my
garage opener in my vehicle which is sitting at the car dealership and now I
have to walk all the way around the house to the front door every day when I
get home. #TooHotToWalkOutside
#FirstWorldProbs
… that I’m too
lazy to go get the garage opener even though it’s only about 15 minutes from my
house. #AintNobodyGotTimeFoDat
… that I’m
dying to have these shoes that have been everywhere in the blogging world, but
I will never because I just can’t spend that much money on shoes. In my world, that kind of money buys five
pairs of shoes. Someone please make a
knockoff.
... that Olivia yelled out, "I have diarrhea!!" at the restaurant Friday night and I laughed instead of shushing her.

… that once
July 4th is over, my brain immediately goes into fall mode. I think it’s because the heat is so
unbearable here in July and August that we can’t do anything outside without sweating buckets and being miserable, so I
start dreaming of crisp breezes, college football, and pumpkins. #SorryNotSorry
… that this 100
degree with 1 billion percent humidity and no clouds for shade weather we’ve
been having lately sucks. (Woops, guess I didn’t have it all out of my
system after all.)
… that I was
supposed to be doing a different post today, but it was going to be too
involved with way too many pictures to edit, so I copped out and did this post
instead... now my entire schedule for the month is going to be hosed. #StillOnHolidayTime
*Linking up with Sparkles and Lattes and Dispositive Motion for Confessional Thursday and Home of Malones for Thoughts for Thursday.
Sometimes a less involved post is necessary. Hope you get your car back soon!
ReplyDeleteHa ha I'm still on holiday time too, I can't get with it this week! I cannot believe the heat you guys get! I would die, seriously, LOL.When it's 90 here I'm done! When are you getting your car back?!! I wouldn't want to walk around either, ugh!
ReplyDeleteLol I feel the same way! I'm ready for Fall too...not that we have seasons down here in FL haha. I'll keep my eye for those wedges. You know the ones Jessica from Little Baby Garvin keeps wearing, the lace up cutout wedges that are $200!? I found a pair in a cognac color for $30! Hunting down "knock offs" (I hate that saying) are my thing haha.
ReplyDeleteBig laughs on the diarrhea comment, LOL! I know what you mean about the weather. When we lived in NC I always felt that way. This past year was a perfect Midwest year because we had an amazingly long fall, fairly mild winter, spring was probably the hardest, but by May it has been awesome! Let me know if you find a knock off of those shoes and yay for Friday!
ReplyDeleteGirl don't ever apologize for going on a sucks rant. We all need to do that sometimes. Besides painting DOES suck, lol. Enjoy your long weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOL I loved all the things that "suck". :-) well, don't love them.. you know what I mean! And yes about going into Fall mode... our summers start later here, so it's still pretty cool until mid-July but after about 2 weeks of hot weather I'm like "is it October yet? I miss my sweaters." :-)
ReplyDeleteGeez your car has been in the shop forever. I hope you get it back soon. I hate painting walls too. And being at work when I have so much to do at home. I am with you on the Fall. I want all the Fall things too. I love summer and beach days, but this 90 plus to low 100s is killing me. We can't go on evening walks or do much outside unless we go to the lake. I hope they make some knockoffs too because I can't afford that. I can't stop laughing at Olivia's comment at dinner. I would have laughed too. Sometimes what kids say are so bad, but just so funny. Like the cussing. I can't help but laugh when they try to say sit and say shit. Too funny. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletePainting sucks. I want our nursery repainted so badly and I’ve been trying to talk Tim into it. He’ll likely have to do most of it since I really shouldn’t be inhaling paint fumes (an excuse that I love, haha). I’m dying here at Olivia yelling “I have diarrhea!!”at the restaurant - LOL!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute shoes! I hope you can find a knock off version!
ReplyDeleteThis weather SUCKS and painting sucks, too. I am with you!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to park in my garage since I got our SUV 3 years ago. And I'm getting ready to trade it in for a new one this month that's the same size. Oh well. Hopefully our next house will have bigger garage doors. (Just for the record, I'm certain I could SQUEEZE it in, but my husband is worried I'll misjudge the distance and scratch it up. Men.)
