I was so glad to hear that Danielle at Sparkles and Lattes and Lynn at Dispositive Motion decided to continue the confessions link up after Jess had to step down. I have really enjoyed participating in this link-up each week and I look forward to continuing my confession sessions! Let’s get started!
I confess…
… that I legit
cracked myself up when composing my post about The Poo Poo Party that I threw a
couple of weeks ago. That post is just
golden. Golden, I tell you! I mean, I knew I’d have to do some weird and
crazy things once I became a parent, but throwing an entire party about
poo? Never in a million years did I see
that one coming!
… that I am
still nervous about continuing to blog after what happened to Jess a few weeks
ago, but now that the dust has somewhat settled and I’m taking extra
precautions, that initial icky feeling in the pit of my stomach is finally
starting to subside. I surely won’t be
letting my guard down and blogging with abandon, though. Not that I ever really did that anyway... #Paranoid
… that one day
last week I may have forgotten to
wear deodorant. Eeks. Luckily I’m not a very sweaty person so I
don’t think anyone else noticed. As a
matter of fact, I didn’t even realize it until after lunch, and by then the
work day was almost over. Oops.
… that I came
across these shoes a couple of days ago when I was linking all of the products
for my What I Wore post, and they might be the cutest shoes I’ve ever
seen. Y'all know I normally can't resist black and white stripes and bows, but with a price tag like that, it's not too hard. However, if someone could kindly open a shoe factory and produce some knock-offs that real people can actually afford, that would be great.
… that I miss
the days of going out for Cinco de Mayo AKA Cinco de Drinko as my girlfriends
and I used to call it. I guess tonight
we’ll be whipping up some homemade margaritas and chicken enchiladas at
home instead!
Olé!

So glad to hear that someone is carrying on the confessions link up! That poo poo party was hilarious. Hey, whatever works, right?! Happy cinco de mayo!
ReplyDeleteI cracked up reading about the poo poo party. I've caught myself without deodorant beofre. I blame it on being distracted by children. Ha ha! I agree about cinco de mayo. Not quite as fun as it used to be.
ReplyDeleteThat poo party really took the cake!! I was telling Rick all about it last night! OMG when I don't wear deodorant it's bad LOL! Have fun tonight, we will be celebrating over here as well, but only with 1 drink since we have to head to a baseball game later :)
ReplyDeleteI've forgotten deodorant before too! I'm not a very sweaty person either so it wasn't too bad... I keep perfume at my desk so I just put some extra of that on!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha my husband asked what we were doing for cinco tonight and I said eating tacos and it's TGIT on ABC so we'll be home LOL! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI loved the poopoo party! Jacob's future wife will love this!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up! Now I am off to read about the poo poo party! Love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteI seriously cracked up after reading your Poo Poo Party post...it was brilliant though!! Between you and I, I have forgotten to wear deodorant too...I'm not a sweaty person either, thankfully! Haha!

Girl, I cracked myself up so hard. I just couldn't believe that we were throwing an actual party about poo.
DeleteI told my husband about your Poo Party post and he was laughing so hard. I told him you never know if we have to do that one day. So great. I have forgotten deodorant before or after the gym and I have showered, but forgotten to put it on again. I miss going out on Cinco de Drinko too!!! Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteYay for the Poo Poo party...getting through that phase definitely deserves a party...for child AND parents! :) I've been super nervous about blogging too...such a scary world out there!
ReplyDeleteThe poo poo party is hilarious!! I am with you on missing the Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
ReplyDeleteYep, we had to bring our celebration to the house... whipped up some chicken enchiladas and ritas and it was pretty great... except for the whining in the background from the kids. Haha.
DeleteOh my goodness...I forgot deodorant recently and stopped at the next exit, which happened to be a truck stop. The only travel size deodorant they had was some strong, manly (suitable for a truck driver) deodorant. My little, delicate armpits were on fire that day!!! I guess most people that buy deodorant at Truck Stops don't shave their arm pits. Consider that my public service announcement....
ReplyDeleteHomemade margaritas sound like they will fit the bill just fine! I loved the poo poo party, and hey, I never thought I'd have the kid screaming in the grocery store either, but you do what you have to do, haha!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for cracking up at your own post - I would've too. Simply amazing, haha. Have a margarita for me tonight! :)
