I’m back with
another edition of home tour Tuesday and today I’m sharing… the kids’
bathroom. Riveting, I know.
The bathroom is
sandwiched between the kids’ two bedrooms, and it’s not terribly large, but
it’s bigger than the bathroom that I had to share with my two brothers growing
up, so I consider them to be pretty lucky.
The bathroom is
decorated in a tropical theme, and fun fact, the shower curtain and décor is
all from my bathroom in my old apartment that I shared with my best friend just
out of college. When Brian and I got
married and I moved into his house, I boxed up and saved all of the decorations
because they were still relatively new at the time, and when we built our home,
I thought it was the perfect décor for a guest bath. Fast forward a couple of years to when we had
Jacob – the decorations are gender neutral, so we just decided to leave them up. I guess eventually it will be time for a
change, but for now, I like the throwback décor that’s in there currently… it
reminds me of a time when I was single and independent without
responsibilities. Haha.
Ok, enough chit
chat, let’s get to the tour…

Love the bathroom! You kept it very mature while still bringing in color for the kids--beautiful! Can't wait to see your office!

I really like that shower curtain! The pictures of the kiddos on the beach are adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the personal touches with the pictures, and the one in the tub is precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have plans to frame a couple more on those shelves... Olivia needs a bathtub pic in there, too!
DeleteThis looks like a tropical oasis!! I love it! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteLove this bathroom. Everything in your home is meticulous! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'd love for our kids to share their own bathroom. Our main bathroom, although I love it, is shared by the masses. It's the main bathroom for company, it's the kids' bathroom and it's mine and Jon's place to shower since we've yet to add a shower in our master bath. I blame the previous owners! What were they thinking to not put in a shower head? Haha!
I'm looking forward to your office reveal! Eek!!!
Girl, that IS crazy! No shower head in the master bath?? Weird!
DeleteAs usual, so pretty! You have a great way of incorporating a theme, but still adding a flare of personalized things (kid's pictures, etc.) as well. Love it.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I think it's so cute when kids bathrooms are themed. Checking out your other spaces! :)

I love that they have a double sink! Our hall bath only has one and it's a pretty small bathroom. It works for kids though. I love how you have it decorated. Can't wait to see your office!
