And the Top Blog Post of 2015 Goes to…

Holy page views, Batman!  My top post of 2015 was actually the very first blog post that I ever wrote… Olivia Cate's Pink & Gold First Birthday!

I published this post on March 7, 2015… it began my journey in blogland, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.  Since publishing it ten months ago, it has been viewed 10,573 times and that number is growing exponentially every day.   

So, why all of the continued page views for that particular post?   

Pinterest. 

I pinned all of the pictures of the decorations to Pinterest shortly after publishing the post, and several of the pins are still constantly being repinned, thus generating all of the traffic.  I’m not exactly sure what constitutes a pin going viral, and I’m sure that it would be way more than this, but it still blows my mind how many times some of these pictures have been repinned.   

This picture of the pink and gold clothes pins that I made to clip her monthly photos has been repinned 759 times.   

This picture of the baby section of the food table has been repinned 2,529 times.   

This picture of her birthday banner has been repinned 2,845 times.   

And this picture of her cake table has been repinned 6,617 times!   

These numbers may not be all that impressive to some, but they sure do baffle me, and I’m completely humbled and grateful to everyone who follows along every day.
