Fall is upon us, and I could not be more thrilled! I’ve been longing for stretchy leggings, warm scarves, and snuggly cardigans for quite some time now, and I am patiently waiting for the weather to cooperate. Fall and winter fashion used to be my least favorite, but ever since skinny jeans and long layers came back in style, I’ve fallen deeply in love with frosty weather fashion, and I’ve been counting down the days until I can get back into it.
Until then,
here are some of my favorite looks from spring and summer 2015.
Casual Attire
On the
weekends, I typically stick to shorts and sleeveless shirts or tanks, or
sundresses to stay cool. I keep layering
to a minimum because it’s just too hot down here to wear more than one
shirt or tank. To dress up my lack of
clothing, I accessorize with statement necklaces, belts, cute sandals, fun nail polish, sunglasses, and the
occasional bracelet.
Business Attire
Because of the southern
summer heat and nasty humidity that we all dread, I try to wear as little as possible
to work as well, while also abiding by the work dress code (of course). My favorite staples for work are pencil
skirts and sleeveless blouses or sleeveless dresses, and I avoid pants and any
kind of layering like the plague.
Well lovelies,
the countdown is on… just a few more weeks and we can finally make the
transition to all of the warm, snuggly clothes that we love! Scarves and boots, I’m coming for you!
