Hey hey, y’all! It's Friday!!!! Woooo! It’s actually been quite calm this week (besides Olivia fighting bedtime a couple of nights), so I actually had some time to work on my very first Five On Friday post!
I have been
searching high and low for the perfect gold handbag. I recently purchased one at Macys.com
but was disappointed to find that it had no dividers or compartments
inside. This momma needs compartments! So this week I found another one on Amazon
and I found one at
Walmart of all places! I’m
just waiting on the Amazon bag to arrive (today - so excited!!) so I can compare all three and then
I’ll return the two that don’t make the cut. I'm hoping that I like the Amazon bag best, because it is quite a steal! The Macy’s bag is my favorite looks-wise, but when it comes to hand
bags, functionality plays a very important role for this organized girl and I’m
not sure if I can tolerate one big open bag.
Can you say keys at the bottom of
the bag all the time? Seriously, how do the keys always manage to shimmy
their way to the bottom?!

These shorts
just popped up in my Pinterest feed this week and I need them more than any
other shorts that I have ever needed in my entire life!! However, they’re Gap from last summer, so
they are obviously sold out. Too little too late, Pinterest. Too little too late.
Soooo, if
anyone sees anything similar, HOLLA!
Brian's company had
an employee appreciation picnic/concert last night and we all had a
blast - live music, Chick-Fil-A, ice cream, Bomb Pops, and popcorn! They were going to do a fireworks show as well, but a storm blew in and rained it out. Poor Jacob was so disappointed! He had been talking about the fireworks all week. I told him that we will do some sparklers at home this weekend to make up for it... not quite the same, but hopefully good enough. :o)

Scandal. I won’t spoil anything for
those of you living in DVR-land, but OMG, WHOA, and OH. MY. for last night’s
season finale. How am I going to live
without it for the next 5 months?!
F I V E
Almost all of
the rooms in our house are fully decorated and ready for a photo shoot, but each one has a couple of
lingering projects that need to be completed – a gallery wall in my office,
pictures for frames in the kids’ bathroom, cords to be hidden in the wall for
our mounted TV in the playroom… I could go on and on. Soooo, I’m hoping to finally get some of
these annoying little projects completed and out of the way this weekend so I
can start my house tour series! Wish us
luck for a productive weekend, and may yours be productive/relaxing/wonderful
as well! XO
